The author has published the following proof-of-concept examples for creating new buildings in the game: I can't wait to see mods for this framework that will bring new buildings and various 3D models to the game! Huge impressive work done! It sounds fantastic that now, after seven years, support for new buildings, characters, modules, ships and everything else that uses a 3D model is finally possible!
